Sway’s surgery date has finally been set, Thursday February 28th. Sway will go to the hospital tomorrow at 2:00PM SLT to start preparations.

She won’t have a computer or any way of connecting to the internet while she’s in the hospital, but one of her RL friends will provide updates on her blog. Check there for everything!

Sway’s surgery date has been displaced. Originally, the surgery was supposed to be at the end of January, but for now it’s up in the air. All Sway knows is that this is because the hospital doesn’t have enough staff there due to it being a German Armed Force hospital and some of the doctors are in Afghanistan.

The doctor will call her soon (2-3 days before) to give her the new surgery date, and she hopes it will be in February.

Just because the event is over, that doesn’t mean this blog is going to fade into the dark. Instead of promoting the event, it’s going to be used to provide updates about Sway as she goes through her recovery.

But I figure everyone would like some stats about the event, so here you are:

Over 80 different stores and designers participated
Over 40 different blogs promoted the event
The website received 20,294 views and 5,897 visitors from 90 different countries
The first day of the event raised 500,000L alone

Over the two week period, the event raised a total of 1,551,825L
